The aim of this project was to literally reflect the historic setting of the Australian Catholic University Banyo campus in the exterior of a new state-of-the-art learning facility.

Although challenging to install, we chose long-spanning cladding to achieve a distinctive look.

The interlocking cassette panels were designed with 0mm joints which required zero manufacturing tolerance and absolute precision during installation.

Proven profiles, precious metals

Our customised aluminium cladding enabled the versatility and malleability required in production. We devised unique manufacturing techniques in order to fold the cladding’s corner panels at such a length.

With its incredible corrosion resistance, aluminium was also an enduring choice for the landmark building.

The iconic building won Queensland State and Brisbane City awards in addition to a prestigious National Public Buildings Award for excellence in building and construction.

The exceptional quality of our aluminium cladding will ensure that the commanding building stands strong and continues to showcase the campus’ rich heritage in its exterior for years to come.
